Introducing Co-Ed Tuesdays at Glow

Starting this summer, we’re opening our beautiful studio space every Tuesday night to welcome everyone — women and men — to experience the power of yoga and sound healing in a supportive, welcoming environment.
This is not partner yoga — it’s just yoga. For every body.
We’re offering two grounding and accessible classes each Tuesday evening:

🌿 Deep Stretch Yoga
Slow, soothing, and floor-based — this class is designed to release deep tension from the hips, shoulders, back, and legs. With long holds and gentle guidance, Deep Stretch Yoga is perfect for those who are stiff, sore, or just in need of a calm reset.

🌙 Slow Flow Yoga
A gentle vinyasa-style practice that focuses on breath, balance, and mindful movement. This class flows at a relaxed pace with modifications offered for all levels. It’s great for beginners and anyone looking to move with intention and ease.

✨ Full Moon Soundbaths 
Now Co-EdOnce a month on Tuesday nights, we’ll also open our Full Moon Soundbath to co-ed participants — a deeply restorative, meditative sound journey designed to realign the nervous system and soothe the soul.
Our regular weekly soundbaths will remain women-only.

Why Co-Ed Tuesdays?
At Glow, we believe in the healing power of movement, stillness, and community. While our women’s-only space remains sacred and untouched, we also recognize that:
  • Men in our community deserve access to wellness too — especially in beautiful, mindful spaces like ours.
  • Yoga supports mental and physical health for everyone, not just women. Offering this opportunity can improve balance, mobility, and stress relief for those who might not otherwise feel comfortable trying yoga.
  • It brings families and communities together — we’ve had requests from members who want to bring a partner, brother, or friend to experience the Glow studio.
  • One night a week makes room for more connection while keeping our core women’s programming fully intact.

FAQs – Co-Ed Night at Glow
Q: How do men attend Co-Ed Yoga or Soundbaths at Glow?
A: Easy! Just book online through our website or app. Pay the regular drop-in rate or purchase a class pass.
Q: Is the women’s-only gym affected by this?
A: Not at all. Our gym is in a separate building next door and remains exclusively for women — open 24/7 and fully private six days a week.
Q: Can women still attend Co-Ed Night?
A: Absolutely — these are regular yoga classes, just open to both men and women. Everyone is welcome.
Q: Is this a couples yoga class or partner yoga?
A: No — it’s a traditional, individual yoga class open to all genders. You don’t need to bring a partner.
Q: Can I bring my teenage son or husband?
A: Yes! As long as they meet the age and waiver requirements (minimum 16 years old), they’re welcome to join.
Q: What should I bring or wear?
A: Comfortable clothes, a yoga mat, and water. We also have mats available at the studio if needed.

Summer Student Special!

Bring Your Teen to Glow – Just $1 a Visit!This summer, we’re inviting our members to share the Glow experience with the next generation — for just $1 per visit.
Whether it’s a yoga class, a sound bath, or a gym workout during staffed hours, your teen (aged 11–17) can join you for only a dollar. It’s our way of saying thank you to our amazing members — and supporting healthy habits, movement, and confidence for young women and teens in our community.
How it works:
  • Bring your teen with you for just $1 per visit, all summer long
  • Valid for any Glow class or gym access during staffed hours
  • Unlimited use – bring them as often as you like
  • One teen per adult member per visit
  • Want to bring a second teen? Invite a friend to sponsor them or pay the regular drop-in rate
  • Offer ends September 1
  • Both guardian and teen must sign a waiver before participating
We believe movement is powerful — and that introducing it early, in a supportive and women-centered environment, is one of the best gifts we can offer. Let’s glow together this summer!

It's time for a holiday glow-up... We are bringing back our holiday hit from last year, the Bingo!
This year, this Bingo Challenge, exclusive for Glow members, motivates you to try all the delightful holiday offerings and classes at Glow, giving you that extra glowy feeling for your holidays.
The rules are simple; sign up, grab a Bingo card, and fill in as many spaces as you can.
Bonus: Included in this Bingo challenge are 12 free classes, so if you don't already have an unlimited class pass, you get to enjoy classes at an unbeatable rate from December 9 - 20 during the challenge.

Q. How does it work? How do we win this challenge?
  • This is a team challenge! To win this challenge, sign up for a team by choosing a timeslot. For example, the “Earlybirds” time slot is 5 - 8 a.m.
  • Every time you workout during that window of time at Glow, you win a point for your “Team”. (swipe your key fob!)
  • The team with the most points after 6 weeks wins.
  • (We will divide the points by the number of people on the team.)
  • For example, if you sign up for the “Early Birds” time slot between 5 - 8 a.m., then you should aim to do your workout sometime between 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. to earn points for your team.
  • Your team is composed of the other members who sign up for the same TIMESLOT.
Q. Which workouts at Glow count for this challenge?
Any workout at Glow will count for this challenge as long as it is within the TIME SLOT you chose.
Yoga classes, circuit workouts, treadmill time, reformer pilates - any workout you do within your TIME SLOT will count.
Q. What do we win?
The winning team will receive wellness goody bags and a full smoothie and snack bar setup during their workout TIMESLOT on the Friday after the challenge ends. Enjoy the sweet taste of victory as you sip smoothies and fuel up with healthy post-workout snacks - we’ll have it setup for the whole three hours for your whole team to enjoy. You’ve earned it!

What a journey it has been!
We are so grateful for the community we are a part of, our amazing members, and neighbours,  fellow Selkirk business owners, and of course our inspiring coworkers, we call The Glow Team!  
Over the last six years, hundreds of women in Selkirk, St. Andrews, St Clements and surrounding areas have become stronger.
We love helping women to find a workout to enjoy and love! We love creating the best gym and wellness experience possible, and helping you to feel your best!

We have a winner!

"It was a lot of fun and was the motivation I needed lol! I was following a keto plan and making sure I got at least one workout a day and sometimes two. Including yoga classes of course!"

Glow Fitness for Women Expands Services to Offer Weekly Sound Baths in Selkirk, Manitoba
Classes to launch Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. starting December
Selkirk, Manitoba - November 27, 2023

Glow Fitness for Women, the leading women-centric fitness facility in Selkirk, Manitoba, is pleased to announce its expansion of services with the introduction of weekly sound baths. This unique offering aims to provide a holistic wellness experience for members in a tranquil and rejuvenating space.

A sound bath is a therapeutic practice that utilizes sound and vibration to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. During a sound bath session, participants are immersed in calming and harmonic sounds produced by instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and chimes. The soothing tones and vibrations aim to restore balance, reduce anxiety, and induce a state of deep relaxation.

"We are thrilled to introduce the addition of sound baths to our range of wellness services," said Katie Miller, co-owner and founder of Glow Fitness for Women. Glow Fitness for Women will host weekly sound bath sessions in a dedicated studio with heated floors designed to create the ultimate relaxation experience. To celebrate the expansion, Glow Fitness for Women will be offering these classes for existing members and non-members are welcome to drop in for $20 per session. Classes will be included as part of Glow's regular offerings of yoga, pilates, TRX and other wellness classes exclusively for women.
